Mermaid

Every walk on the seashore results in new things. Sometimes the find might be as small as a tiny shell, or a ripple in the sand, sometimes the find is something large.. This memorable walk we found a mermaid.

Sitting in the sand, her seaweed hair rippling in the the breeze, oblivious to us, she stared out to sea waiting for her sailor to come home. I am convinced once the sun finished setting, she turned to life and dove back into the water...
